New Yorker: An Anguished Cover of Neil Young’s “Ohio” by Jon Batiste, Leon Bridges, and Gary Clark, Jr.

Young has called “Ohio” his best cut for C.S.N.Y., and yet he still found it hard to believe that he had to write it.

Ever since high school, my best friend and I have always shouted "Ohio" when any bar band takes requests. Never forget.

Later: Just looked at their playlist. They didn't include Hendrix' Star Spangled Banner from Woodstock. Big mistake. That defined a pathos for a generation.
