Living in NM, being a Democrat (and being hard-pressed to stay one and not go Independent), you realize how disconnected the mainstream bicoastal media is from the heartland. We're bugs to poke, even if ideologically aligned. It's gotten very old. Journalism isn't surviving its 'dump the career journos, hire the hourly journos' mentality. IMHO.
