Yes, well ... my beloved Princeton University makes more money as a real estate holding company. They don't even need to service a single student to stay afloat. All those endowments -> Wall Street -> investment interest -> crazy affluence. They should just issue scholarships for everyone and take a 10% tithe of their post-graduate earnings for 15 or 20 years.
