NJ.com: Rider University to sell nearly century-old Westminster Choir College.
For Westminster Choir College, the music will live on -- but precisely where is still to be determined. Its parent school, Rider University, announced Tuesday that an outside firm has been hired to seek a buyer for the renowned music college that would keep it on its 23-acre campus in Princeton. That's the preferred choice, but another option would be to sell the school to an institution that will move the school to its own campus.
WCC is an *essential* part of the soul of Princeton. You cannot extricate it from place. Princeton University has more money than God (being a real estate holding company masquerading as an Ivy League school) ... do the right thing, PU, and keep this alive and in situ. Even if just for the cold, calculated real estate value alone.
