Crested Butte in the autumn, returning on the road from the (once) ghost town of Gothic.

I went back in the spring, and the endless green was terribly boring compared to the rich dark colors of fall. A lesson learned. Calendar photos are for the weak-minded. Go for the unanticipated seasons.
