NY Times Opinion Letters: Shining a Light on Long Covid, a 'vicious affliction.'

Those first two letters. My God.

My bout with Covid was mild, or so I thought. Just one really terrible night, high fever, chills, fatigue so severe I basically laid on the floor panting all night. And then, just moderate cold symptoms for a week after.

But.

I am having random days of crushing fatigue, two months later. I can be full of energy in the morning, and unpredictably worn out for a three/four hour period in the afternoon.

Worst is lingering insomnia. Like four/five hours of sleep a night most nights. Not sure it’s entirely from post-Covid, but it’s annoying as heck. I’m fiddling with diet and nutrients, as I am wont to do, and having some success. I’ll see if I can overcome this myself, having full faith in my body’s natural abilities. There is an upside - gives me time to find good links for this blog.
