I need to pick up that book. We’ve been living in crumbling infrastructure since shortly after Reagan gained the presidency in ‘80. The concept of cutting taxes to a better life, that ‘supply side’ is anything but draining the governmental coffers … idiocy. But the rationalizations of horror … there’s a phrase in a book I’ve read recently about how the commoners, when triggered to fear ‘others’ by ideologues, would … “cut off your head with an ear-pick, even if it took a hundred tries” … that’s kind of where we’re at in America with MAGA faithful. That is what has my ears and eyes open as we approach election day.
