The ACA has been the biggest media-assisted mess in recent history. I mean it. I won't even excerpt this - read it for yourself, all the way through, before judging. Missing is the fact that the ACA's goals could have been met more economically, more easily, by other methods (and I'm not talking about single-payer). For instance, the price of the ACA for one year alone could have put a couple thousand smackers in each uninsured person's pocket, without raiding *our* wallets. There were catastrophic plans on the market before the ACA that could have been bought for that.
